Pregnant, started a new job, and no FMLA for a year?

awww...I am pretty sure I'm pregnant, just started a new job, but no FMLA for a year. I can take a maternity leave with pretty good urance that I could get my hours back when I return. I don't believe we could afford that. Do you think it would be too hard for me and the newborn, if I went back to work half time? That would be two overnights from 12pm to 8 am. I thought I could keep the weekend hours for six weeks, and drop the other hours, and my parents could keep the kids during the weekend overnights for a few weeks. After that I could return to the 4 overnights, but still unsure how that would be with a newborn baby. I don't want to burden my family. I would need to pump through the night and keep bottles in the fridge. With my first baby, he slept with me mostly and fed about every two hours. Do you think this will be too rough on everybody?
