Switching from tri-sprintec to ortho cyclen?

i was on tri sprintec for 3 months, the first couple of months were fine but the third month was just horrible. in the 2nd week i experienced bleeding for a day, heavy, ped blood clots, everything. then the next day it was gone, but there was still a brown discharge for a week. during the third week the bleeding happened again for one day, and then the brown discharge, and then it happened again with the bleeding, and have been bleeding since. i ended up going to my doctor and told them how i hated it, and they switched me from tri sprintec to ortho cyclen. she said the breakthrough bleeding will be fixed, most likely this month into next when i start taking these new pills, but im wondering if anyone has experienced the same things, or how good ortho cyclen is, and its side effects!! thanks for the help!
